The Weight Loss Game - Book Review

book cover art for The Weight Loss Game by Victoria Fleishman The Weight Loss Game:
   How to Lose and Win!
by Victoria Fleishman
Genres: Nonfiction, Diet,
   Weight Loss

This book doesn't just repeat known information that helps people lose weight, it also explains WHY. As adults we like to think that we are wiser and have outgrown the rebellion of refusing to do what is best for us without explanation. However knowing the reasons behind WHY we should do things helps us with motivation and accepting that these steps really are important and should not be skipped.

Do you know that some fat and sodium are important to your body's ability to function? Do you know that it is possible to drink too much water? Do you know that cutting out too much of one specific thing can do more harm than good? This book has comprehensive explanations to inform you of the reasons behind these facts and many others. This book really isn't about "dieting", it is about changing your current existing diet. Dieting implies a temporary change. In order to have a healthier lifestyle you need to implement a long term change.

You will definitely get some food for thought (no pun intended) after reading this. You will aquire info to help you determine why fad diets really do not work in the long term, give you facts to assist in choosing a new food plan, and also includes suggested grocery lists and menu guides.

I give it 5 star review graphic 5 stars!
